The cargo management, utili-track, or deck rail system options refer to the factory installed rail system designed to hold moveable cargo cleats along the inside of your truck bed. Please call us for further clarification.
If you have a Nissan Frontier or Nissan Titan with the factory bed extender you may need the Optional Bed Extender Adapter Kit.
How It Works
The LiteRider Roll up Cover is rather easy installation. Plan about 20-30 minutes for installation. Most models are a No Drill, Easy Clamp On Installation. For most models the only tool you need is a 9/16" wrench. If a model is not a clamp on installation it will be noted at the time of order. If you have additional installation questions give us a call.

The installation with the provided clamps on our Nissan Frontier was not easy nor satisfactory. The clamps did not hold well and were prone to slipping off. The instructions tell you to move the clamps up or down to get the side rails parallel to the tail gate but this was impossible because of a lip on the truck body interfered with moving the clamps. After much frustration I ended up drilling holes in the side rails and truck rail they mount to and securing with stainless steel sheet metal screws. This finally resulted in a secure and level installation.
Previously I had bought one of these covers for my Tacoma and had no problems. In this case there were no clamps. Bolts were provided that fit into existing bolt holes on the truck and it was easy. Maybe the difficulty with clamps only happens with Frontiers, I don't know but it certainly is not a good mounting system for out truck. The quality of the cover and appearance is 1st rate
This was fairly simple to install (have never done it before) and was able to do it alone. Happy with quality, price, and overall product design.
Very clever design. Keeps things out of the weather when needed, easily opens and closes. Forget the installation clamps and just drill and screw in the rails. Clamps didn't work well on my Toyota Tundra.
This cover installed easily - 2 people are recommended (one to hold the side rails while the other tightens the clamps. You may want to re-check the tightness of the clamps after a day or two. Also, make sure the cover is adjusted to have a good amount of tension on it. As-is, out of the box, it is set to be a little loose, so be sure to adjust it so it doesn't pool water when it rains.
This model has three aluminum bows. It arrived within a few days of ordering (ordered on Monday, arrived on Thursday).
My only concern with this cover is that there is an area on either side of the bed (approx. 3 inches) where the side rails for the cover do not contact the inside edge bed - this is due to the fact that the surface on the side of the Dakota bed that the side rails clamp to is not the widest part of the inside edge of the bed - the last three inches of the bed, just before the tailgate, is about 1/4" wider on either side. It's not much of an issue, as some tape or weather stripping can easily fill that gap.
The end of the cover that's closest to the back of the cab uses a fabric seal just like the end at the tailgate. This seal isn't bad, but I noticed that I could see daylight at the corners of the bed. Other reviews of this cover mentioned using some weather stripping or tape in these spots, and I did that as well. After a heavy rain storm that came shortly after installing the cover, there was only a very small amount of water in the corners of the bed by the cab (although, on my Dakota, there are two small holes stamped into the back vertical side of the bed at the corners, so the water could've come in there.)
I was a little concerned that the height of this cover (advertised as 1.5" above the bed) wouldn't look good on the Dakota, but it actually does look very nice.
Rolling the cover up is easy - I like this cover much more than my previous one, which used buttons/snaps and was horrible to take on/off, especially in cold weather.
Overall, I really like this cover. I would recommend this cover to friends.
Nice price, delivered quick, pretty easy to install, fits my 2014 GMC Sierra 6' bed great & looks good.
I bought this tonneau cover to replace my old snap on cover that got destroyed in a wind storm. I wanted a cover that would lock in place and couldn't easily be ripped loose in heavy weather. I also wanted a cover that I didn't need to remove completely to use the bed of the pick-up to haul large items. This cover met all my requirements. Super easy to install, clean low profile look and just rolls out of the way for hauling. Great product!
As the first thing I've ever installed on any truck, I was concerned about ordering online and doing the work myself. The extra parts for the deck rail system (i.e. spacers) were intimidating at first, but if you take your time and follow the instructions carefully, you should be fine. As many have said, installing the side rails to be compatible with the stock rail system is the trickiest part. Other than that, the system basically puts itself together. I was stunned that I got everything right the first time. The cover rolled out perfectly and looked sharp. The entire installation process took me less than 2 hours doing it myself. I drove through some very heavy rain and other than a few trickles, the cover kept the bed dry. It also improved my gas mileage (over 24 mpg on my 2011 4 cyl 4x4, all highway). The key factors after installation are to make sure that the tension adjusters are set evenly and to roll the cover up as tight as you can if you want to be able to clip it. I'm very glad I spent a little extra on the LiteRider instead of the tri-fold covers. I'm very impressed with this cover and will definitely purchase one for any truck I own in the future. I highly recommend this cover to anyone who wants a quality, sharp looking cover that's tight as a drum and isn't too hard to install.
Recently bought this cover for my son's truck. I've had the exact cover on my truck for over 8 years and it still looks like new. Easy installation and doesn't leak a drop. Highly recommend!
This is a real head-turner, especially from the people who invested in a different type of Tonneau. It's holding up well with just an occasional rub-down with ArmorAll. We love this cover!
It was nice to find a cover to use without removing the utility rails on my 2010 Dakota. Install was tricky but instructions were well written. Overall worked out great.
