Description
The aFe Super Stock Air Intakes replaces your OE tube with the Torque Booster Tube, and it also replaces the OE filter with a high performance air filter. The aFe super stock air intake has manufactured air filters that are a custom design for maximum performance in each application. They replace the OE style filter with a 360-degree radial flow. Filters that provide more suface area eliminate dead spots. Each aFe air intake system is designed to work in harmony with the other intake system components. The pleated depth loading media with large surface provides high flow, and eliminates high dirt capacity. Which gives you the maximum airflow with maximum dirt filtration. The Super Stock Air Intake System adds 8-10 extra horsepower. For diesels you can choose the Pro-Guard 7 with is 5 layers of finer medical grade cotton gauze, and is combined with 2 layers of non-woven synthetic polyester fabric with random porosity. The result of this 7-layer filter is a high performance airflow and high filtration efficiency of a heavy-duty filter. The Pro-Guard 7 is completely washable and reusable. The filter has a built-in expanded metal that prevents collapsing under high pressures and wet conditions. The Torque Booster Tube has a smooth bore and gentle bed that helps increase HP and torque while reducing EGTs. Red Coublers are provide a perfect fit and enables the system to be installed in just a few moments. Clamps are also provided for installation.
