Excellent product, 15 minute installation which was a snap. Mounted to 2015 Chevy Colorado, looks great, fits great and very easy to use. Keeps bed dry.
Installation was easy & looks great!
Very easy to install and very sturdy. It has withstood winds of 70 mph gusts so far. Fits snuggly and adds a good look to my new pickup. Light weight and easy to remove and re-install. Like it much better than my old one!
I was looking for a low cost way to cover items in the bed of my 2014 Ram 3500 SRW 4x4 MegaCab with, 5er prep and a PullRite SuperGlide fifth wheel hitch, when not towing my RV trailer. The cover closes over the fifth wheel plate even though it sits a little higher than the top of the bed rails.
Many tonneau covers I looked at had permanent mounting brackets that were inside the bed and decreased the width of the bed reducing the turning radius before the pin box would hit the bracket. This cover is easy to install and remove to store when I hook up my 5th wheel RV. The cover has stood up to heavy snow fall amounts.
I am very pleased with this tonneau cover and would recommend it to anyone.
It's a cheap cover, about what I'd expect for the price. On the 2014 ram 1500 there are factory bed rail covers on the sides and tailgate, but not the front. This forces the front corners of the cover off the bed and prevents them from sealing well. The seal on the tailgate side of the cover is also thicker than the remaining seals, so it forces the rear of the cover up when the tailgate is closed. Despite these sealing issues, the bed appears to stay dry while driving in wet/snowy weather. I'm hoping the rubber will soften up in the heat of the summer and help the cover settle better.
Installation and operation are very quick and easy, about 30 minutes to put on the first time (and maybe 10 minutes for re-installations once you know how it's supposed to go on).
Overall, if you're just looking for a cheaper cover I'd recommend this, it serves the purpose well enough.
I've had this cover on my truck for about 2 months. So far I am very pleased with the quality and how it makes my 2013 F-150 look. Initial installation was easy although I did have to do some minor trimming on the bed top plastic trim. Nothing that a utility knife and few minutes couldn't take care of. When the cover was taken out of the box, it had wrinkles at the folds. After a couple of days, the wrinkles disappeared. I have had occasion to remove it once for hauling a dirt bike. Removal was quick and simple. Reinstallation took less than five minutes. If I had any wishes for improvement, the small buckles used to connect the retention straps (for when the cover is folded open and the truck is driven) would stow flat rather than sticking up behind the cab. A minor quibble.
