Have gotten many compliments on these lights. I see people pointing at them when I'm driving. Definitely different than the plain "Line of Fire" lights and attention grabbers. Believe they'll make my truck not only stand out, but help make it safer because they get noticed. Only negative is the wiring issue - I'm pretty good at this and it took me an hour to do it right. Highly recommend these to anyone with a truck or SUV that they'll fit on because they increase safety.

My initial impression of this product was great. Installation was relatively easy and the functions (especially the scanning turn signals) were an advantage, these are an eye catcher, drivers following you definitely knew your intentions. Everything worked great for about 6 months. Then I noticed that four (4) of the L.E.D.'s on the right side were out. After closer inspection I discovered that moisture had gotten inside the clear plastic tube. Within a week the right side lights no longer functioned. I removed the light bar and closely inspected the tubing and end seals. I could not tell how the moisture got inside the tube (no cracks, chips or deformity of the material that seals the ends). Apparently these are not designed for long life. RealTruck was great in standing behind the product that they sold. They replaced the complete assembly at no charge. If the replacement unit only last six (6) months, I will be very disappointed. I personally would not fault RealTruck (they did the best they could) but I will not be making any purchases from the company that manufactured this product.

INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD STATE THAT VEHICLE MUST BE RUNNING TO PROGRAM.DIDN'T FIND THIS OUT UNTIL I CALLED FOR HELP ABOUT PROGRAMMING THIS UNIT!!!OTHER THAN THIS-I THINK THE SCANNABLE LIGHTS ARE GREAT AND WORK VERY WELL.YOU DO NOT SEE MANY OF THESE APPLICATIONS ON THE ROAD WHICH MAKES THEM VERY UNIQUE!!!!GREAT PRODUCT WITH EASE OF MOUNTING.

The 6 pin connector between the strip and control unit is a weak link. Light worked great when tested on the bench, but not on the truck. Only taillights worked. I would not buy another LED strip.

LOOKS GREAT ON MY TRUCK. POOR INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION. SIMPLE TO INSTALL IF YOU ARE USING THE 4-WAY PLUG. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DIRECT WIRE TO THE TRUCK WIRING HARNESS YOU NEED ELECTRICAL/WIRING KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR VEHICLE, OR GET ASSISTANCE FROM SOMEONE WHO DOES. BE SURE TO HOOK UP THE BACKUP LIGHTS, THEY WORK AND LOOK GREAT. IF YOU ARE INSTALLING ON A 2000 FORD F-150 LARIAT BE SHURE TO REMOVE THE TAILGATE AND MOUNT A LOW AS POSSIBLE (JUST ABOVE THE BUMPER), IF MOUNTED TO HIGH THE VEHICEL BEHIND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THE LIGHT BAR (TRUCKS IN PARTICULAR). ALSO THE BOTTOM OF THE TAILGATE WILL HIT THE LIGHT BAR IF MOUNTED TO HIGH. THE LIGHT BAR IS VISALBLE DURING DAYTIME DRIVING AND LOOKS GREAT AT NIGHT. ANYONE FOLLOWING YOU DEFINATELY KNOWS YOUR INTENTIONS (TURNING, STOPPING, EMERGENCY FLASHERS OR BACKING UP).

I live in Southern California, and the light bar shipped in less than 2 days for regular shipping. The bar looks great on my truck, and has been running great. The only issue was that the directions weren't that great, so if you don't know that much about cars and electrical wiring, get to know someone who does!

Product works great, looks awesome. Did take some time to wire reverse cable in correctly. Instructions were not very clear that you needed to tap into the main line before any tail-light or trailer connectors.
