Very nice product, better then expected. Got the power coated because I'm not into polishing chrome any more then nessary. Great paint job, solid rubber foot pads.Really suprised that the end caps were solid welded on metal end caps, not push on plastic ones.
Very easy to install. No holes to drill, none to thread. Used factory holes and anchors. One sugestion, if you are installing these on an older truck, run a tap in the anchors to remove any rust and dirt that may be in them.
This produce was nicely thought out, to use the factory holes and anchors to install. I'm looking forward to buying other products that use factory holes to mount them.
Instructions poor quality, poor pictures.
bought it for my dad, he loves it and it still looks great 4 months later. I'm really happy he likes it so much. also a fantastic deal.
Exactly what i was looking for fit well and look great
Steps look great but the directions are not the best. Had to have extra washers for the body bolts.
Looks great! I love the beefed look. Obviously functional. Installed in under an hour.
Well built easily installed and look great
Install would have been a 1/2 to 1 hr if not for one little glitch, the front hanger brackets didn't line up using the factory body holes on either side of the main body brackets, they were off by 1 and a 1/2 inches, haven't bothered calling cust. serv. yet, just baught some longer bolts and 1/4" wall steel tubing for spacers and seems to be working fine.
The instructions were a little confusing as far as the part identification but once I figured out where everything went the nerf bars went on easily and look great. Very sturdy and make my truck look much better. I will be purchasing another pair for my father for his birthday.
While I loved the look, quality, and especially the unbelievable ease of installation, I did think that on my particular vehicle, a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee the front step pad was a few inches to far forward and thus you tend to step on the back edge of the pad rather then in the middle.
Also, I have mud flaps on my Jeep and the front of the bar pushes against the flaps and thus distorts the look of the flaps so I think if the bar was a few inches shorter up front this wouldn't be an issue.
But overall I love em.
