Unlike other products that raise fuel pressure to increase fuel delivery (which can cause leaks and damage to fuel system components), the BD Diesel X-Power Plus Module achieves performance gains by altering injector pulse duration and timing. By increasing pulse width, more fuel can be delivered at each combustion event - and by optimizing the timing (or the number of degrees before and after TDC that fuel is injected), combustion efficiency is significantly enhanced. Combine these attributes with cutting-edge fuel mapping, and you've got a product that not only delivers more power (from 50 hp up to 180 hp at the rear wheels!) but also lower EGT's, improved fuel economy, and smoother operation overall. Supreme control is provided by the color-coded Power Dial, which is mounted in the cab.
