With rising gas prices, fuel efficiency is on everyone’s mind. Last year SEMA conducted a study regarding the effect that tonneau covers have on the aerodynamics of pickup trucks. The SEMA study confirmed that covers reduce drag and help improve fuel economy as long as the tonneau does not add a significant amount of weight to the vehicle.
