Ford F350 & F250 Super Duty Gains 16+ HP with K&N’s Performance Air Intake System

The 2006 Ford F350 Super Duty 6.8 Liter V10 can tow a staggering 17,000 pounds outfitted with a fifth-wheel hitch. K&N Engineering has a Performance Air Intake Kit available for this heavy-duty pickup.

With the addition of K&N Engineering’s new Air Intake System, Ford Super Duty owners can realize a 16+ horsepower gain. K&N’s Research and Development Department tested a 2005 Ford F250 6.8 liter V10 on our in-house dynamometer. Results showed a 16.21 horsepower gain @ 4450 RPM.

This air intake system uses a conical shaped chrome top high-flow air filter and powder coated aluminum heat shield in place of the vehicle’s stock air box.
