The 2008 Nissan Xterra is a compact SUV with a versatile cargo capacity. It is a tough capable vehicle that can take you just about anywhere you want to go. K&N Engineering has released a performance air intake system with a free flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube specifically designed for several models of the Nissan Family.
K&N dynamometer tests show an 11.63 horsepower gain at 5200 rpm for the 2005 Nissan Frontier with 4.0 liter engine. The air intake tube offers a smooth air path between the air filter and the motor for more power. It also increases under the hood appeal with its polished aluminum finish. K&N air intakes allow your vehicle’s engine to use a larger amount of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more power when you need it. The 77-6014KP uses a chrome top high-flow air filter and a powder coated steel heat shield in place of the vehicles stock air box. The heat shield protects the K&N air filter from engine heat which also allows for a power gain. The K&N air filter is washable, reusable and provides excellent filtration for a lifetime of engine protection.
It takes about 90 minutes or less to install and is covered my K&N’s Million Mile Limited Warranty. Contact a product line specialists at RealTruck.Com for more information.
