RealTruck will be reporting daily from the 2008 Sema Show in Las Vegas. This is the premier automotive aftermarket products show in the world. Its not open to the general public, but we are going to give you a sneak peak of each day. Look at cool vehicles, new accessories, maybe a celeb or two. Never know what we may run into in Vegas.
SEMA Show attracts more than 120,000 automotive aftermarket industry leaders from over 100 countries for unlimited profit opportunities in the car, pickup truck and SUV & RV and off road markets. The displays are segmented into 10 sections, and a New Products Showcase features more than 2,000 newly introduced parts, tools and components.  There is a Jeep in Nebraska used for researching tornadoes and hurricanes. It also has nearly 300,000 miles of rescue and recovery work. Ben Parker is a certified Storm Chaser and owns a custom car shop in Kearney,Nebraska. He chases storms and educates the public with this Jeep.

 Another amazing fuel cell hybrid electric plug-in vehicle on the market is the Ford Edge. This vehicle is much larger than some of the other electric vehicles on the market. This vehicle is more of a vehicle than a golf cart. Some of the electric vehicles you see on the road look more like a sooped up golf cart than an actual vehicle.  In continuing our search for electric cars, or just simply vehicles that get better than average gas mileage we have come across some information that is quite interesting. There is a Hummer that gets 60MPG! This is just insane….a vehicle that large getting that type of mileage. In researching and reading the information out there on electric cars, hybrid vehicles and hacked up hummers has made me think; if a Hummer get 60 MPG, why don’t the standard vehicles you purchase at a car lot have better mileage?
