Winterize Your Vehicle – Helpful Accessory Ideas

I live in North Dakota, and it is safe to say that winter will soon be upon us. I have a 2006 Chevrolet Suburban and it is the time of year that I need to make sure that both my vehicle and I are prepared for the long winter days and months ahead. There are many accessories and performance parts that I have found to be quite useful during the winter months and I am so pleased with them all that I want to share them with all of you.
For interior accessories of my vehicle, I have Nifty Catch-All Xtreme Floor Mats & Liners. These mats are the greatest for keeping the wet weather elements off the carpet of my vehicle. They are easy to clean and look great!! I also have a RoadPro 12 Volt Digital Compass with Temperature Gauge & Ice Alert. Nothing keeps me more alert to the outside elements than having an exterior temperature reading to alert me when the road conditions are becoming icy and dangerous. A few other items that I have for the interior of my vehicle more for comfort than anything, but a huge plus for not only myself, but for my family as well during the cold winter months are the following:
For exterior accessories for my vehicle, I have a SnowSport Snow Plow. This plow is light enough that even as a woman, I am able to engage the plow myself so that I can get thru the many snow drifts that we get on an ongoing basis in North Dakota preventing me from becoming stuck in the elements unexpectedly. I also have installed WeatherTech In-Channel Window Vent Visors. These are a favorite of mine in any season. I am able to have my windows cracked at any time to let in fresh air without rain or snow coming in as well. Another must that I have added are BAK Running Boards. Having these babies on my vehicle has helped keep mud and snow off my vehicle and off my clothes. A few other products that I have installed for the winter months are:
-
-
Pilot Fog Lights (to help with visibility on those blustery, blizzardy days and nights when travel is a must)
A few other items that I have found as a Must Have in my vehicle not only during the winter months, but anytime are:
And of course a Husky Liners Rear Storage Box to keep this little MUST HAVES all organized and ready for whatever situation comes up.
