In 1983, while working out of a small barn, founder Ray Flugger created Flowmaster’s first design of racing mufflers.  Years of development had finally paid off as racers began to see the benifit of Flugger’s design.  Today, Flowmaster is located in two state of the art facilities totalling over 40,000 sq. ft. Flowmaster Mufflers – Super 44 Series Delta Flow Mufflers

The Super 44 Muffler from Flowmaster is their newest design, offering increased performance and an unbeatable sound.  It features the latest technology and is designed as a direct replacement for the Original 40 Series Muffler that was introduced 25 years ago.  The Super 44 Muffler is designed for performance muscle cars and trucks and is ideal for use on the street or at the strip.  The Super 44 Muffler is Flowmaster’s most aggressive muffler ever made and offers a deep, powerful tone that sounds great from the inside or outside of your vehicle.  The Super 44 Series Muffler features an improved flow path radius for high horsepower engines, creating more power and torque than any other muffler.  The aluminized muffler features a case design of 13″L x 9.75″W x 4″H and a total tip to tip length of 19″.  The Super 44 is designed for 2.25″-3″ exhaust systems.

Also available from Flowmaster is the Super 44 Offroad Series Mufflers.  They feature the same internal design and flow capabilities as the standard Super 44 with a heavier case design that is perfect for offroad applications.  The Super 44 Offroad features a casing that is constructed of 14 gauge diamond plate steel, making it twice as thick as the standard muffler.  This heavy duty design is built to withstand the bottoming and abuse found in the back country.  The tough muffler casing prevents any damage from rocks or other obstacles.

Flowmaster Mufflers – 50 Series HD Mufflers

The Flowmaster 50 Series Heavy Duty Muffler was designed for fullsize trucks with both gas and diesel engines.  It features a 4″ internal design to offer increased exhaust flow, reducing restrictions and back pressure.  This increased flow leads to significant gains in horsepower, torque and fuel mileage.  The 50 Series HD Muffler is Flowmaster’s most aggressive “50 Series” Muffler and offers a performance sounding tone that is deep and incredibly powerful that is ideal for stock or modified trucks.  The Flowmaster 50 Series Heavy Duty Mufflers are constructed of aluminized steel and feature an 18″L x 10″W x 5″H case with an overall tip to tip length of 24″.  The Heavy Duty Muffler is available for 3″, 3.5″ and 4″ exhaust systems.

Flowmaster offers several “series” of mufflers.  Each style is specifically designed for certain applications and to achieve a desired tone level.  Whether you are looking for something mellow with a nice rumble or something with a lot of bark, Flowmaster has a muffler designed to fit your needs.
