I’m not so certain I understand this modification. Sure… you can pimp your ride any which way you like, but wouldn’t it have done the same job as a van?
Of course, the truck bed tool box wouldn’t have fit in the back so neatly. Silly me!
I’m imagining that phone order.

“Certainly sir! We carry many different brands like Dee Zee, Bak and Truxedo. What did you have in mind?”
“I want something real cool… like chrome lookin’”
“Of course, we carry diamond plate aluminum to give you that look and it never rusts or corrodes. I just need to know the make and model of your truck to get sizing and a price.”
“Great, I’m the proud owner of a 1995 Odyssey Van! She’s a beaut!”
