Bad news electric CUV lovers… Toyota says they won’t be selling their electric version of the RAV4 when it comes out next year to the general public. To get one you have to become part of or organize a neighborhood car sharing program. Pike Research reports that the company is going after specific ‘strategic applications’. Most likely meaning gated / closed communities and fleets.
In other news associated with the RAV4 EV announcement, there will be no quick-charging feature.
