US Marine Corporal Larry Draughn
Once in a while, we’re a little amazed at how well everything comes together. A little while back the head of our Customer Loyalty team, Debi, was contacted by Semper Fi Marketing about a wounded Marine. They were specifically interested in RealTruck donating a US Rack brand Hawaiian Saw Horse Rack for Corporal Larry Draughn Jr. Draughn had been severely injured when he stepped on an improvised explosion device while serving in Afghanistan in 2009. The Semper Fi team was on a mission to make his life easier now that he was relearning to get around on his prosthetic legs. Read the rest of this entry »

2008 Chevy Silverado Sporting some AEM gear at the 2010 SEMA Show.
In the car and truck accessory industry, there is a little event each year that gets our motors running – literally. SEMA (the Specialty Equipment Market Foundation) holds its annual show November 1st through 4th this year in Las Vegas, Nevada. The location is exotic enough, but the show is truly a sight to behold!
The SEMA Show is honestly the premier specialty automotive products trade event in the entire world. Although it is not open to the public, its purpose is to draw the industry’s best new products, ideas and people into one place at one time. It’s like the mecca for autos, auto parts, aftermarket accessories and more. It can be a little overwhelming to us gear heads. Read the rest of this entry »

Hand held flash programmers have a lot in common. The desire to provide you with the tool you need to tune gas or diesel engine for optimum fuel consumption and power. The ability to provide information and data at a second’s notice and of course, the ability to make your vehicle stand above the rest.
Arguable, a lot of chips fail in these tasks and while failing, they end up costing consumers hundreds, even thousands of dollars. What should someone serious about engine performance do? Read the rest of this entry »
