At RealTruck, we have Guiding Principles molded around what we feel make us work better, not only at the office, but as human beings in general.  One of the values we hold most dear is Deliver More.

Each week, we’re going to recognize an individual, group or company that does a good job of  Keepin’ it Real by practicing any example of our Guiding Principles.  We want to give a special shout out and reward their efforts with additional exposure, monetarily or with product from our store.

October 21, 2011.  EUGENE, Ore. — A local business is offering free dry cleaning services to anyone looking for a job.

 

If you have an interview, The Cleanery at Village Plaza Loop in Eugene will clean and press your interview outfit at no cost.

 

The Eugene business says countless people have come in to take advantage of the no-cost offer.

 

“They are usually surprised at first. They think it’s a scam or something, but it’s our way of giving back to the community,” said employee Alex Louis.

 

They say their goal is to help locals find jobs and gain new customers.

 

Staff started offering the service two years ago and have no plans to discontinue.

Not only have they been actively participating in trying to keep people in the job market, they’ve been doing it for TWO YEARS!  We think they’re Keepin’ it Real and will be getting a gift from us in the mail as a small way of saying thanks for making it a little bit easier for your customers for find jobs.

Initially we’ll expect most of our Keepin’ it Real candidates to come from our staff, but our dearest hope is that nominees come from you, our readers.  We know that you see examples of people helping others with no thought of reward EVERY DAY!
