RealTruck.com's Entry into the Jamestown, ND Holiday Dazzle Parade
Out of about 50 entries RealTruck walked away with the Best Dazzle prize at the Holiday Dazzle Parade in Jamestown, ND. We like to get into the holiday spirit and our team pulled together to make a ridiculously festive float. Something the kids will be talking about for years!
From the Jamestown Sun, “Competition is always stiff, Julian said, and there will be new entrants in the parade as well as many returning favorites. The Salvation Army will bring its giant kettle, and the Sons of Norway will enter the field of competition for the first time.

“Some of them really get into it. I think maybe some movies will come into play, and the usual holiday festive stuff, but it’s always interesting to see what people dream up and come up with,” Bayer said.
Competition was stiff, but we brought our game faces! Our team spent many nights working on the crashed sleigh float as well as dressing up as life sized wrapped presents parade day.
The judges this year were Amanda Brumfield, the current Mrs. North Dakota; Mary Schwartzkopf, Mrs. North Dakota-America 2011; Eliza Potratz, Mrs. Jamestown; Tim Burchill, administrator at Ave Maria Village; and Jamestown Mayor Katie Andersen.
The biggest challenge now will be thinking of how to top ourselves next year.
