RealTruck Offers Powerful New Search To Customers

RealTruck has made numerous changes to the search experience through the years and we’re very excited to introduce our latest work. We’ve been working closely with our customers to really understand what the average visitor is looking for in a Car and Truck Accessories Product Search and have made many improvements.  (See Screen Shot Below Article)

Improvements / Changes

• Less Is More!
  Our previous search had many advantages over it predecessor, but ultimately it offered much more data then the average customer really wanted to see. Most people are searching for products, so why not just show them products? Our new search cuts down on the clutter to offer our products in a manor which allows everyone to eyeball the results very quickly to know where to drill into next.
• Slice And Dice
  The previous search had no ability to cut through larger data sets using any real filtering or allow a user to search wide and far by a vehicle. This new release offers the ability to filter by Category, Price Range, Brand, New Product and Free Shipping to narrow down a search result very quickly. You can also select multiple Price Ranges or Brands to more easily compare products.
• Ratings Powered By The Customers
  We’ve tweaked the layout to make it very obvious which products your fellow customers really liked. We use the usual 5 star rating system and display the total number of reviews as well.
• Wicked Fast Search
  It doesn’t matter what kind of term(s) your are searching for, broad and wide search or narrow, filters or no, this search really flies. Throw a few broad term searches across it and test it out.
• Search By Vehicle or by Broad Term
  You can use the main Search Input at the upper left of the site to perform a Keyword Search or select your vehicle from the Make dropdown on the RealTruck Home Page. No matter which “flavor” you choose, you still get the same quality results. Searching by keyword allows you to filter by your vehicle and Shopping By Vehicle allows you to browse all our products for your vehicle.
• You Got The Part Number? We Got The Page
  At any time, enter in the Product Code into the search box to go directly to the Product Page. It’s kind of like warping through space-time without having to come up with a Unified Theory of Relativity.

We’ve very pleased with our new Product Search but we’re sure not going to slow down. I’ll be sure to give a shout out when we have more helpful features to announce.
