Our pickup trucks today require high tech accessories to make run harder and faster without taking the engine apart and starting over. The aftermarket truck accessories market has taken notice and is turning out a wide variety of different performance bolt-on products. Each product has it’s own appeal to each person.
Bolt on performance has become a huge industry in the truck accessory aftermarket field. Some truck owners search accessories which are inexpensive but perform at the same level as the more expensive performance parts. However, those highly polished parts may look good and perform well but they are also more expensive. With the right know how you can have your truck looking great and running even better. Here are some of the more popular performance parts we sell:
Cold air intakes may be the most popular bolt on performance product we carry. Intake kits allow the engine to breath better and therefore increase horsepower output. If your looking for pure power gain and are not concerned with appearance a less expensive plastic bodied intake will be great for you.
Another popular performance pickup truck accessory is an underdrive pulley. These are another direct bolt on but require a little more work as fas as installation goes. Underdrive pullies reduces the work of your truck’s engine while freeing up horsepower and torque. Some engine applications require a pulley puller to remove the factory pulley.
Performance chips, engine computer chips, modules and microtuners can give you the quickest horsepower gain of any aftermarket accessory. Performance chips are simple and quick to install. They require no maintenance and give you a sudden increase in horsepower in only a matter of minutes. It’s from altering your truck’s computer. Depending on your make and model, it isn’t anything to see over 100 hp just by hooking up a microchip to your truck. Diesel trucks tend to benefit the most from chips and tuners.
