The City Slicker provides maximum protection without all the weight. It's made from 12 gauge steel instead of the normal 7 gauge steel of other heavy duty bumpers. Boondock does use heavy duty 3/16" steel brackets for strength.
One of these truck bumpers can be installed without any special tools, cutting or drilling. All you need is some time and maybe someone to hold it in place for you. Boondock ships the City Slicker bumpers out in a raw finish so you can have them painted to match your truck's paint.
