Perfect replacement for a regular cab truck. Plus should get more life out of the aluminum step than the stock/aftermarket steel step especially in regions that plow.

They had the fastest shipping possible, and at this time of year, Christmas, it is very important. They sent me the exact item I ordered. My son will be thrilled when he opens this Christmas day. The free shirt was a great bonus. Thanks RealTruck for all you do!

I give you a 3* because it is an average TWO ratings, which are: 1* (poor), because the steps, although advertised by you as such, did NOT fit my pickup and I had to return them. You get a 5* (very good) rating for your service in returning them. You paid the return shipping, as it should be, and credited me the full purchase amount, and it was done as quickly as was possible. Above all, your people that I talked to were very friendly and accomodating, and did apologize for the error. Because of your friendly staff and good service I ordered mats for my pickup and all went well, very smoothly done.

Well this is not a good story but the ending was fair. I was told they mounted to my truck frame before I ordered them but that is not true they do not mount to the frame.

Second was they were shipped in the manufacture box that is to light to ship these heavy items. That being bad enough they used very little tape. Most of the hardware had shook out of the box during shipping and they would not ship more parts based on some claim issue for two weeks,
So I told them to just credit me as they did not mount as they had shared and waiting two weeks for parts was silly. They just credited me and that was the end of it.

I think they are a good company but the maker of the item shipped it for them and did not take care to ship it right and I think they gave this company the run around I think.

So I guess you can take what you want from my review that is not much of one but I will give them another chance.

I really like the looks and construction of the steps. Installation wasn't bad, although an angle drill is needed to drill the mounting holes (I bought one after trying to drill the holes with a regular drill). However, because of the way the steps are mounted to the body, they do tend to flex when you step on them. It was enough to concern me, so I made some braces out of aluminum angle that attach to the steps and the frame. Because of the flexible location that the steps mount to, I am only giving them 4 stars. If Bully had included a brace to attach to the frame, it would be a 5 star product.

Installation instructions were fairly clear. Product was well made. On my 2008 Silverado a regular drill was too long to fit between the frame and body sill. Plan on having access to a right angle drill. After installation the step seems to work well but doesn't feel complelety solid since it mounts to the body sill. They don't make trucks like they used too. An additional mounting bracket back to the truck frame would give a more solid feeling.
