Description

Bully Dog Rapid Flow Turbo Back Diesel Exhaust Systems were designed with performance in mind. Bully dog truck exhausts feature the lowest possible bend angles to provide a free flowing path for exhaust gasses to escape leading to lower EGTs. Bully Dog diesel exhausts are available for late model diesel trucks cat back, turbo back, and DPF back configurations. Users can choose from 4", 5", or 6" systems in either aluminized steel or Bully Dog's exclusive ceramic coated stainless steel. Ceramic coated exhaust systems include all the same great benefits of stainless, but will never fade or discolor under extreme temps found on newer DPF equipped trucks. All Bully Dog Rapid Flow Turbo Back Diesel Exhausts are also equipped with ceramic coated tips that will look great and outlast your truck. All Rapid Flow Exhaust Systems are dyno tested to ensure unmatched performance with gains of up to 20 horsepower and EGT reductions of up to 250 degrees. All Bully Dog Exhaust Systems offer easy, bolt together installation using factory hanger brackets. Bully Dog recommends using a 4" exhaust system for horsepower applications less than 450 hp, while the 5" systems are recommended between 450 to 550 horsepower applications, and our new 6" systems are recommended for trucks producing more than 550 hp. Installation

This product offers straight forward installation in 2 hours or less.  It does require cutting off the stock exhaust and bolting on the Rapid Flow exhaust to the factory mounting positions.  I purchased this item in Nov. 2011. Although they did not have it in stock and had to wait approx. 4 wks, I kind of expected that since my vehicle was a 1995 diesel that is is probably lees common to stock this item and it would be a make to order. During the wait from the supplier who was actually fabricating the exhaust I was updated constantly with status and it was delivered exactly when they said it would. Being the 2nd exhaust I purchased for the truck (1st one from a different manufacturer) It is very difficult to get the clearances perfect as the space is very tight for the exhaust. This unit was perfect in every way the fit was exceptional and quality excellent. I couldn't be happier with The Bully Dog exhaust and Real trucks coordination.

 When I had the exhaust installed at a Wonder Muffler shop, they had to remove the stainless ring where the down pipe entered the turbo outlet other than that the installation was straight forward. I noticed the improvement in performance immediately.
