I installed this tailgate cap on my son's Ranger. The fit was okay, not great. It fit the contour of the gate, but leaves a gap of 3/4 of an inch on each side. So you need to get it even & hope when you push it down, it does not move. Would have been nicer if it was the exact same size as gate. Dealing with Real Truck is always a pleasure. Thank you.

Bought my tailgate cap and really like it. 3M tape does a great job. Easy to install and a good fit. This is great because when I am ready I can purchase the matching side rails and be confident that they will match and fit well.

I am so happy with the tailgate cap for my Ranger. It looks like it was factory installed! A wonderful product!
One thing that I could use help on, is that the ends did not glue well. I keep thinking that maybe I did something wrong, but I followed the directions exactly.... every step, yet when I get ready to go somewhere, I notice the two ends have popped up. I don't know if the remedy is to use some JB Weld with a Q tip or what. Any suggestions will be welcome.
My next purchase will be the side rail caps.
