Summary
Coordinates all aspects of a customer’s experience on our websites while enthusiastically carrying out our core values. This will include but not be limited to assisting sales inquiries, requesting to return or exchange a product, follow up with past and present customers, initiating the order fulfillment process and communication with vendors.
- Answer phones and assist customers with product information, assist with selection of products and answer any customer inquires
- Assist customers with placing orders through website or over phone
- Transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Enter purchase order confirmation and tracking numbers
- Responsible for coordinating with PLMs to negotiate pricing and terms with distributors
- Reports and assists correcting issues with vendors, product data and website errors
- Report back-ordered and discontinued items
- Assisting customer(s) with return, exchange, warranty, or shipping damage issues.
- Documenting any correspondence with customers
- Notify Shipping & Receiving department of any anticipated returns.
- Work with all departments that will involve the customer care aspect: accounting, sales, and purchasing.
- Working with vendors to ensure our customers receive the correct part(s) that are needed and/or missing from the actual item ordered.
Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office & Web Browsers)
- Excellent customer service skills and highly organized
- Ability to work in a fast past environment
- Ability to follow company policy, work alone and also as a team player
