SEO Manager
RealTruck is an Truck Accessory Online Retailer. We are looking for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager to work closely with our web development team in the optimization of our website, www.realtruck.com.
Specific Responsibilities
The SEO Manager will be accountable for implementing search engine optimization recommendations including, but not limited to:
- Keyword phrase audit and strategy
- Technical development and testing of search engine algorithms that drive and optimize Internet traffic.
- Navigation analysis
- Link Analysis: including broken links, redirects, cross linking
- Identify duplicate content
- Identify URL structure problems and perform URL rewrites
- Resolve issues with visibility problems stemming from coding such as JavaScript, Flash, CSS
Required Skills, Experience and Education
- 2+ years of Search and/or Digital media experience
- In-depth knowledge of SEO practices and concepts and knowledge of statistics, algorithms
- Previous experience with a computer programming language a plus
- Strong scripting and database skills, including JavaScript, MySQL
- Link and Navigation Analysis
- Search-friendly URL strategies
- Code revisions (Flash & Javascript workarounds, basic HTML programming)
- Knowledge of syndicated research tools such as ComScore, Hitwise, AdGooroo and WordTracker
- Knowledge of SEO tools such as Web Position Gold
- Knowledge of Web Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture and CoreMetrix
- Technical proficiency, particularly with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work successfully with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Desire to work in an industry which is constantly evolving and presenting new and unique challenges
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor
Years of Experience Required: At Least 1 Year
