Web Content Manager – Summary

Manages all aspects of RealTruck’s website content to optimize the consumers experience and to enhance search engine results increasing web traffic, conversation rates and lowering bounce rates.

Specific Responsibilities

• Write, edit, maintain and enhance content for all RealTruck websites and blogs. (editing category, brand and product line content on websites and meta data along with blogging on new products, company news and creating content rich articles and research guides)
• Work with product manager to translate product information into clear, concise web friendly content.
• Partner with marketing to enhance content for landing pages and create landing pages.
• Work with web development and marketing to optimize web content for natural search (SEO).
• Work closely with web development and marketing to optimize landing pages for increase conversions.
• Identify and improve areas of website that do not meet performance expectations. (e.g. high abandonment/exit)
• Work with marketing to target and track top performance keywords enhancing the landing pages and lowering bounce rates.
• Research, monitor and report optimization of landing page improvements.
• Support marketing in fine tuning blog posts and content for various social media marketing efforts.
• Work with marketing efforts to maintain a successful and consistent message throughout websites.
• Capitalize on link building opportunities by creating articles and finding and developing link building opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned involving web content.

Required Skills, Experience and Education

• 4 Year Degree
• Excellent computer and analytical skills
• Website optimization experience
• High level of initiative and driven to succeed
• Knowledge of SEO and Search Engines
• Sharp writing, strong business & organizational skills
• Ability to work alone and also as a team player
