Trucks are big, tough vehicles that often have a substantial amount of clearance between the cab and the ground. That means you're often required to make some pretty big leaps of faith just to get in and out of your truck. This obviously creates some safety concerns, in addition to just being less than comfortable or convenient.
Manufactured using corrosion resistant aluminum alloy, Carr Hoop II truck steps are built to be super tough. That's a good thing, because you'll be relying on these things to hold your weight and take a clobbering from your shoes, work boots, or other heavy duty footwear day in and day out. They're backed up by a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer also, and we have as much confidence as they do that these truck steps will deliver for years to come.
From a design standpoint, Carr Hoop II truck steps sport a well thought out tread pattern that assures a safe non-slip stepping area. They are also compact in size, easy to install, and made to fit most trucks. That all goes without mentioning they're made right here in the USA!
Not only do Carr Hoop II truck steps work great, they also look stylish and add a subtle flair to your ride that anyone can appreciate. They're available in black powder coat, silver powder coat, or polished aluminum finishes, all of which look incredible. All resist scratching, cracking, and peeling. If you're in the market for a new set of pickup steps, these are a solid choice.
The Carr Hoop II truck steps offer an easy installation. For additional information see the install manual below or call us at 1-877-216-5446 or 701-253-5906.

very good product, strong and easy to install.
I am very pleased with the new side steps. Frankly, I'm getting too old to crawl under any of my vehicles and, mount accessories, such as side steps anymore, so I took my truck to a local shop and, they installed them within a half hour. They are solid, attractive, steps. The only drawback that I can think of is that after about half a dozen trips through the automatic car wash, the brightness of the steps, has faded slightly, but, they still look very, very, good, and, shiny! I opted for only one pair of side steps, for just the two front door's access into the Crew Cab, 4x4 pickup, that I will be using primarily only for taking to the woods, for Deer Hunting, and, I do not plan on carrying more that only one passenger. The two rear doors obviously provide me with the easy access, into the back of the cab for loading up my hunting equipment; rifle, ammo, and, miscellaneous hunting accessories. Oh yes! Before I forget, the side steps are a whole lot cheaper than Nerf bars, that can be somewhat cumbersome, and, potentially "hang up," or, make contact with objects, back in the woods, on some of those "rough, off-road," trails, that I must frequently travel over, when hunting.
I bought a 2012 F-150 XL and needed some help to get in the truck. This step fit the bill. There is a crossmember under the door that this fits in between. I had to make a cardboard template for the holes as no template is provided. The rest of the installation was easy and the step looks nice.
Sent back had to drill in my truck not happening
Easy to instal and look great
These were way more difficult to install than in the instructions. The F250 does not have the bolt holes underneath to support this add-on and holes must be drilled. The time to install this product was more like 2 hours for the 1st one. the others went on easier but required drill bits and other tools no shown in the instructions.
As with most things these installation instructions could be better. I'm concerned about the bare metal brackets rusting and weakening the step. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the cost, looks and performance of the steps.
We were told when we bought our truck that there were not any side steps available for my model. My wife has been unhappy trying to climb in and out of my truck for several years. Then I found these. They fit perfectly and were not too difficult to install. Now my wife is happy.
The installation was pretty easy and straightforward, i did it myself in a couple hours. They look great and feel solid. I did increase the size of the sheet metal screws just to make sure I got enough bite. The holes in the brackets were plenty large.
I'm a short gal with a big truck so these steps were just what I have wanted since getting my truck. Had to have someone else install so I wouldn't have to crawl on the wet cold snow tho!
