What is Coverking's Warranty? I've seen Car Covers with Lifetime Warranties.
Coverking's standard warranty period is 1 year. Some materials, such as Stormproof, have longer warranties. In these cases, the warranty is pro-rated. Some discount stores and mail-order catalogs do offer car covers with Lifetime Warranties. Unfortunately, it is impossible for a car cover, especially the inexpensive models sold by discount stores and cheap websites, to last a lifetime - there simply is no car cover fabric which will last more than 5 years in the Phoenix sun. Companies and people who sell car covers with Lifetime Warranties are betting that their customers will not use their product, and forget about their purchase - similar to the business model used by fitness gyms. Coverking WANTS our customers to use our products, and we apply a realistic warranty.


How "custom" are your covers? Do you make a pattern for EVERY car model?
Coverking Custom Car Covers are made specifically to ONE individual vehicle. Many times, several Coverking Custom patterns are offered for a vehicle - for example; if a vehicle has a rear spoiler, a GPS antenna, etc. Coverking has thousands of patterns. Because each fabric has different stiffness and stretch, each pattern is modified for the type of fabric used - resulting in well over 100,000 patterns. Because of the wide selection of patterns, fabrics and colors, Coverking has no stock. Beware of companies selling a custom cover from stock - most likely, it is not a true custom fit.


Why don't you offer the same fabrics other Car Cover manufacturers offer?
Coverking produces what it believes are the best products in the market. With Custom Car Covers, Coverking examined the wide selection of fabrics offered and felt Coverking's engineers could design a superior material. Test results show Coverking's fabrics to be superior in areas of fabric breathability, water resistance, and abrasion resistance. Coverking chooses to fund engineering and design of fabrics instead of marketing of fabrics. What is the TS16949 Quality System?

ISO/TS 16949:2002 is an International Standards Organization Technical Specification, which aligns existing American (QS-9000), German (VDA6.1), French (EAQF) and Italian (AVSQ) quality systems standards, with the aim of eliminating the need for multiple certifications to satisfy multiple customer requirements. Together with ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949:2002 specifies the quality system requirements for the design/development, production, installation and servicing of products. In addition, there are customer specific requirements that are required by individual subscribing vehicle manufacturers.

	Materials Properties Legend: Water Resistance is a grade of how much water will penetrate the fabric. A "5" signifies the most resistant. Coverking materials are water resistant, not waterproof. Breathability describes how much moisture vapor trapped under the car can escape through the cover. A "5" signifies the most breathable. Compactness measures how easily the material is to pack. A score of "5" identifies the most compact. Sun's UV Rays damage a car interior, finish. Materials with a "5" rating are most likely not to degrade under xtreme sun conditions. Natural and Man-Made Hazards, such as bird droppings and industrial fall out are very acidic, and can eat through a car's finish. A score of "5" identifies the material most resistant to these dangerous chemicals. All Coverking materials are designed not to scratch a vehicle's finish Some materials are softer than others. A "5" rating is softest.
	Autobody Armor: Revolutionary new material takes the stretch of Coverking Satin Stretch™ custom covers, and combines it with all weather protection. A middle layer of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) provides your vehicle with the best water resistance available from a Custom Car Cover today. Two outer layers of woven polyester reinforce and protect the inner layer while allowing moderate breathability. Protect your vehicle from the elements while keeping a perfect fit!
	Satin Stretch Profile: Satin Stretch is an indoor Custom Car Cover fabric. It will fade if exposed to extended sun, and is not water resistant. Satin Stretch is the SOFTEST fabric available, and has Lycra yarns to hug every contour of a vehicle. Blind stitching results in invisible seams - this is a SEXY car cover!
	Triguard Profile: A 3 layer Custom Car Cover material suited for light weather conditions (perfect for occasional use or vehicles stored under a carport). Triguard is fairly soft and very compact. Do not use Triguard in harsh weather or sun. Triguard is also not suited in areas with industrial fall out (acid rain).
	Coverbond 4 Profile: layers make Coverbond 4 a very thick and bulky Custom Car Cover. It is not suggested for daily users, or for people with large SUVs. However, the extra bulk helps to guard against minor nicks and dings, and even helps in light hail. Coverbond 4 is suggested for moderate weather or indoor use.
	Mosom Profile: A 3 layer Custom Car Cover fabric which is similar to Triguard, but with an advanced micro-porus film middle layer. The film aids in preventing water penetration, while allowing vapor to escape. Mosom is a good general use cover. If the vehicle is exposed to significant sun, we suggest Silverguard or Stormproof. Mosom™ is soft to the touch and won't scratch a vehicle finish (assuming the vehicle is clean when the cover is applied). Mosom™ is available in gray color, and offered with optional embroidery and officially licensed GM logos.
	Mosom Plus: Mosom Plus™ is a four layer material. The outer two layers are Spunbond Polypropylene, the middle layer is a special micro-porus film and the inside layer is super-soft fabric. The middle layer is an excellent rain barrier, while allowing for vapors to pass through. The special cotton flock inner layer pampers the most delicate paint finish. It is a great choice for all-around car cover use, suggested for most conditions except extreme sun, snow or ice. Mosom Plus™ is a non-woven material, so in the unlikely event a rip occurs in the materlial, it will not run. As with all Coverking Custom Car Covers, Mosom Plus™ Covers can be custom made in just 2 days!
	Silverguard Profile: Similar in properties to Mosom, but with more sun resistance and slightly less breathability. Silverguard is a 300 denier polyester woven Custom Car Cover fabric with a unique encapsulative coating. It is perfect for general use, even in very sunny climates. The silver coating helps to reflect sunlight. Silverguard™ is a 300 denier polyester material with a reflective and water resistant coating. It is a great choice for all-round car cover use, suggested for most conditions except extreme rain, snow or ice - in which case we suggest Stormproof™. 300 denier is a strong, heavy weve which will not rip or tear easily. The silver coating on Silverguard™ does an excellent job of reflecting sunlight, while keeping rain and animal droppings from damaging the vehicle finish.
	Silverguard Plus: Silverguard Plus™ is a 300 Denier polyester material with a reflective, water resistant coating on the outer layer and a soft, non-abrasive layer on the inside. It is a great choice for all-around car cover use, suggested for most conditions except extreme rain, snow or ice. 300 denier is a strong, heavy weave, which will not rip or tear easily. The silver coating on Silverguard Plus™does an excellent job of reflecting sunlight, while keeping rain and animal droppings from damaging the vehicle finish. The special soft inner layer pampers the most delicate paint finish.
	Stormshield Profile: Made by Guilford Mills, Stormshield is a unique polyester knitted Custom Car Cover fabric with a "peach fizz" lining. The lining adds extra softness and thickness. Stormshield is perfect for virtually all weather conditions. Stormshield is available in black, gray, blue, red, yellow and tan. In addition, two tone combinations are available with black sides and a color center.
	Stormproof Profile: Decades of material engineering, it has only recently been possible to mfg the microscopic yarns which go into this advanced micro-fiber Custom Car Cover material. Only one textile mill in the world was able to meet Coverking's specs. Although challenged by Coverking's design, the results are truly a triumph! Stormproof is UNCOATED and UNTREATED this means that even after months or years of use, it will have the same properties! Stormproof feels more like an expensive golf jacket, yet is tested to be the MOST WATER RESISTANT and the MOST BREATHABLE. Available in gray, black, red, wine, and 2 tone combinations with black sides.
