The steel flat top 850 van rack is designed for hard core contractors and is specially designed for full sized vans. A series of 10, yes 10 cross rails ensure that even the biggest and baddest loads are distributed evenly, with plenty of tie-down opportunities for security. And a whopping weight capacity of 850 lbs.

This is my 3rd purchase of a van rack and my first with this company,
It is the strongest so far, I added 4 additional gutter rail supports for a total of 8, It probably holds a lot more weight than they specify, I would know, I bent up the last 2 pretty good.
I sprayed clear coat rustolium over the bolts to have it rust free for atleast 5 years. Its worth the money. I load it with everything.

This is one heavy duty rack. I actually purchased this rack to be used as a bike rack and cargo carrier for a long road trip. I had 7 bikes, a Yakima cargo carrier and a ladder on this rack for 5000+ miles. It worked great. Assembly was fairly simple and so was installation but you need at least a couple people to get it on the van because of its size and weight. You hardly notice it's up there when it's loaded, but when it's empty it can be kind of noisy. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and REALTRUCK.

I selected the Cross Tread 850 after searching for a rack that would be sturdy and economical. I am an avid camper and our family enjoys many outdoor activities. The roof rack that came with our van is non-existent. I now have the capability to bring ANY gear I need without having to compromise on our comfort. This is an industrial grade commercial roof rack - Thank goodness some products are still made to last and made in the USA! I would strongly recommend that folks consider the value and workmanship of this product. If you are looking for a large and sturdy rack - look no further!
