Chrome finish very good, thread very clean no dings, nut tighten up real easy on 1 1/4" shaft,went into the receiver hole with no problems.

No chrome, hurrah!. A substantial rating for the ball of 30k. Apparently a stronger grade of alloy steel than most balls. I have towed for a month now with loads up to 15k and no wear on the ball. In the past with lower rated chromed coupler balls the chrome starts to wear after the first heavy pull even with grease. Very little additional cost over the lower rated balls. The only improvements I would like to see are a self locking nut and the ball and nut anodized black for rust prevention.
