The captivator 3 is attractive and fits just about anywhere designed especially with the light truck and SUV in mind. It modulates and controls current from the battery to the trailer brakes. The longer the brake is depressed the greater the current delivered to the trailer brakes until the pre-set brake power setting is reacted. The Captivator 4 is an all around great trailer brake. Use with any two, three or even 4 axle trailers. The Captivator 4 is the most all around user-friendly brake controller on the market. Variable digital display shows volts, amps and % of power, keeping you informed of your trailer at all times. Comes complete with mounting hardware and easy to install.
