Description

Curt rear receiver hitches for pickup trucks and SUV's for towing and pulling. Curt hitch offers class 3 rear receiver hitches for towing and trailering. Curt class 3 receiver has a GTW 10,000 WD / 6,000 WC (round tube styles: GTW 6,000 WD / 5,000 WC). Featuring evergloss powder coat finish, open back end design, Pro S collar, robotic welding and a weather tight construction. Most applicatons come with a built-in step pad for easier access into the bed of the truck without pulling down the tailgate. Curt class 3 hitches are available in the traditional square tube design. Select models are also available in a round tube design.

EVERGLOSS Powder Coat Finish: Every Curt receiver hitch receives the EverGloss powder-coat finish. Finishing curt products to a high-gloss black or color finish involves an advanced in-house powder coat process in which the powder coating is baked onto the prepared surface. Curt manufacturing adheres to a high standard in materials and application. Curt applies the optimum thickness of powder-coat film to all their finished products to ensure resistance to rusting and corrosion or abrasion.
Open Back End: All hitches are designed with an open back end. This allows for easy cleaning. Plus dirt or snow cannot get stuck inside the throat of the receivers.
Pro S Design: This attractive and seamless one-piece collar reduces rust and ensures strength. It exceeds V-5 standards.
Robotic Welding: At Curt manufacturing, precision robotic welding ensures superior strength and fit.
Built In Step Pad: Most 2 inch round tube rear receiver hitches come standard with a built-in step pad.
Weather Tight Construction: Curt MFG weather tight construction prevents rusting from the inside out by sealing the main body.
Optional Colors: Get your rear receiver hitch in Black or a Custom Color. 9 colors to choose from. Note: not all colors are available for all applications. CURT Manufacturing Incorporated warrants, to the original purchaser, its products to be free from defect workmanship under normal use and service, ordinary wear and tear excepted for as long as product is owned by the original purchaser.

CURT Manufacturing Incorporated's obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at its option. CURT Manufacturing Incorporated shall not be liable for the loss of or use of vehicles, cost of removal and /or installation, loss of time, inconvenience, rental of vehicles, loss or damage to personal property, expenses such as telephone, lodging, gasoline, towing, or any incidental or consequential damages. CURT Manufacturing Incorporated will examine the returned product. If the defect is covered under the warranty, CURT Manufacturing will repair the item or replace it at that time. Alterations or misuse of the items will not be covered under the warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Would be better if instructions suggested a tool or technique to enlarge frame rail holes - enlarging with a drill may not be appropriate. I used a rotary file installed in a drill. Clever use of the included fish wire, although how to use it may not be very apparent to some people. The brackets that attach to the frame rail required me to spread them apart to line up with the frame rail holes for attaching. Installation is far more tha 30 minutes as described in instatllation instructions.
