Description

All Curt Receiver Hitch Adaptors feature the evergloss black powder coated finish. GTW rating of 3,500lbs. These one-piece adapters are used for converting the receiver tube size of hitches from 1-1/4" receiver to a 2" receiver or converting a 2" receiver to a 1-1/3" receiver or just for extending a 2" receiver. 3 Styles to choose from: (1) Adapter for a 1 1/4" receiver to a 2" receiver and extends 6" or 10" Long depending on model.(2) Adapter for a 2" receiver to a 1 1/4" Receiver and extends 7", 14" or 18" Long depending on model. (3) Receiver adaptors are also available to adapt from 2" receiver to 2" receiver and extend 14" or 18" Long depending on model

Evergloss Finish: All Curt Receiver Hitch Adaptors feature the evergloss black powder coated finish. GTW rating of 3,500lbs.
These one piece adapters are used for converting the receiver tube size of hitches from 1-1/4" receiver to a 2" receiver or converting a 2" receiver to a 1-1/3" receiver or just for extending a 2" receiver.
3 Styles to choose from:
(1) Adapter for a 1 1/4" receiver to a 2" receiver and extends 6" or 10" Long depending on model. (not designed for towing - designed for accessories such as bike racks, baskets etc)
(2) Adapter for a 2" receiver to a 1 1/4" Receiver and extends 7", 14" or 18" Long depending on model.
(3) Receiver adaptors are also available to adapt from 2" receiver to 2" receiver and extend 14" or 18" Long depending on model

CURT Manufacturing Incorporated shall not be liable for the loss of or use of vehicles, cost of removal and /or installation, loss of time, inconvenience, rental of vehicles, loss or damage to personal property, expenses such as telephone, lodging, gasoline, towing, or any incidental or consequential damages. CURT Manufacturing Incorporated will examine the returned product. If the defect is covered under the warranty, CURT Manufacturing will repair the item or replace it at that time. Alterations or misuse of the items will not be covered under the warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. So the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state.

(Toronto, ON) on 03/2009 Massively strong construction, perfect for the job of mounting a 4-bike carrier on my car, but the paint/ coating was so thick and lumpy that it would not fit into the 1-1/4" receiver. I had to sand it down and remove the paint!

I contemplated buying a new bike rack for the camper but it would have cost over $250.00. I found Realtruck on the internet and found out they had an adaptor which was the Curt receiver adaptor. Works and fit very good.
