Curts Soft-Trac II Breakaway System not only meets, but exceeds the Department of Transportation's specifications for breakaway systems. Curts Breakaway System is intended for use on single, tandem and tri-axel trailers equipped with electric brakes. Breakaway system can mount on any jack post or A-frame with Quick one bolt installation without drilling. Most states require breakaway switch with separate power supply when towing a trailer. Comes with battery case and mounting bracket, 12v sealed rechargeable battery, nylon breakaway switch and with or w/out 12v battery charger
