The step works as mentioned in the ads. Great customer service - called with a question and got an immediate response. Only reason I give it a 4 star instead of 5 is that the rod that releases the step will vibrate when the step is tapped causing a little rattling noise. This is not heard inside the truck cab though.

Easy to install and works great. I've got bad knees and climbing into and out of the truck was annoying and difficult, now its a snap and my wife loves it as well. She says, "Please pull out your Man Step for me..."

The step was easy to mount and it works as advertised, as long as the slide remains clean. f it gets muddy or even a little dirty, it is unable to slide out. I had to use a hammer a couple of times to force it to slide out. I'm worried about what it will look like after a Minnesota winter.

Works great and makes getting in and out of the box so much easier. For a late model Silverado/Sierra with factory hitch,you will need to follow the simple instructions word for word. I balanced the Debo Step unit on a garage jack and used slight upward jack pressure to hold the unit in place without having the hold it up by hand. This was especially helpful as there is limited room between the Silverado hitch frame and the mounting bracket to thread in and tighten one of the mounting bolts with the assistance of a u-joint connector on a socket extension.

Installed on a 2002 F-150 Supercrew 4X4. It took less than 15 minutes to install. I had to slightly turn the 4 plug trailer connector to fit in the step. I had to use a rubber mallet to get it into the final position soothe bolt would slip through. It is a very tight and solid fit. I weight about 215 and was very comfortable on the step. This is really going to help me get in and out of the truck bed.

Steps are great, even my 5'3" wife can get in the bed of the truck with the tail gate down. A Little hard to install on the truck by myself but we installed them in less than an Hour.

I've had the Debo Step on my Ford F-250 truck for a while now. And I have to say that it is working out great; not only for me, but for my wife. She can now step onto the truck bed with ease! The only flaw is that even though I waxed it, it is becoming tight to pull it out. I will try putting a little grease down, which should do the trick.....great product! Sy Kolanda

I have the SRT-10 Viper Ram. The ground effects package blocks proper monting of the step. I'll need to get it modified to work.

Was easy to install this tailgate step and it's made of good quality steel that should last as long as the truck. I like where it remains out of the way until needed then it's just a simple lift on the leveler that allows it to extend out. If you're needing to get into and out of your pickup box this is the way to go.

step was too heavy for me to hold and mount by myself 35lbs i think so i had to take step out of the mounting bracket to install on my 08 gmc hd ialso had to use a swivel on the socket tobreak and tighten nuts and bolts witch im not too keen on all said install 45 min now im a happpy camper ford has the right idea now they need to build the rest of the truck!

Easy to mount, heavy duty. Holds my 300 lb easy.
Description makes it sound like the step locks into place where you release it. It doesn't, only locks all the way out or in. You can use it in other postions as it doesn't want to slide when you step on it as your weight pushing down holds it in place.
I am going to wax it up to help prvent rusting as I live in a salt on the road for snow state.

Product was very easy to install, use and fit the truck as advertised. The only issue is the long bar extending under the truck without protection. Could snag on brush, limbs etc. when off road.

I bought my DEBO step 5 months ago and I love it. It was easy to install and it is VERY durable and easy to use. It makes getting in and out of the bed SOOOOOOO MUCH easier! My only complaint would be, that it could be wider.

This is an excellent product to use for a person who has replacement a knee and owns a full size pickup truck. The DEBO Step is the safest way to get into the bed, even with a cap, for me. The step is easy to mount to the frame by removing 3 nuts and bolts. This is the strongest step or assist I found to get into the bed of the truck. Very good product.

Easy to mount, fits properly, well made and easy to use. It extends easily most times, but can get loaded up with dirt in wet or winter conditions and may take a bit of a pull to loosen. Shows a bit of rust on the inside of the bracket, may need to be re-painted after a couple of years.
