Description
Dee Zee's Sentinel running boards are a new addition to Dee Zee's already impressive line. The Sentinels are a full-length aluminum extrusion running board that features an ultra black powder-coat finish. The ultra black powder-coat finish gives the Sentinel running boards a sleek look. The edges of the Sentinels are protected by a stainless steel trim, which only adds to the stylish appearance. Each step pad is molded plastic with the Dee Zee logo insert. These Running Boards (DeeZee Sentinel), look really sharp on my 2011 Toyota Tundra. They look better than the Dealer installed running boards. The instructions were very easy to follow and installation was less than two hours with no problems. The only thing in my opinion that good be different, is their choice of screws. I broke one screw in half while tightening. Overall, great product if your looking for that factory flush mount look without sacrificing to much ground clearance.

Easy to install and look good except for the plastic ends which will need to be secured better as they do not stay in line with the main board. The DeeZee emblem which are on the step area of the board are mounted with 3M tape and will come off fairly easily. One of mine came off after the second washing. Also the mounting brackets could use a second bolt to the frame of the truck as they will spin easily if drug on the ground. This causes the adjusting bolts to rip out of the floor board which is aluminum. I bought them to help my elderly parents get in/out of my heavy duty truck and they have done an excellent job for that purpose. I found tubes to be too slick and some of the other boards are not ribbed like these. Water runs off of these and they are wide which helps insure good footing.

This item was very easy to install , absolutely no drilling requirred. I have had many compliments on the appearncee of the boards.
