Dee Zee Automotive Accessories manufactures the FX Series Aluminum Running Boards. These FX boards have been around since 1995 and they are still one of the leading side steps sold today. The FX running boards have a distinct rounded front edge and OEM approved black trim, which is their calling card and offer full wheel to wheel coverage on most popular pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles. The FX Black Running Boards have a sleek Ultra Black powder coated finish. The FX Extruded Running Boards offer a buffed and clear-coated finish. The Dee Zee FX running boards are made of a light weight, yet heavy duty, extruded aluminum material. All FX Series Running Boards come with a Step Pad for Secure Footing. The FX running boards span the length of your cab and include both mud flaps and end caps (unless noted). The installation is a breeze with the quick bracket kit, which comes complete with purchase of running boards (unless noted otherwise.

Start out wrong bolts for channel , had to go get them-[ 8 pcs. 1/4-20 x 3/4] ,2. parking brake cable in the way had to mod, 3. front flap low quality & fit bad 4. running boards are to far under body 5. spray coating missing on face 2"x4" must have been made on monday or friday to bad could be real nice stuff if someone cared a little bit i have had Dee Zee running boards on my truck for 17 years and they are way better than the new ones !!! i will buy from Realtruck again they did a great job Thanks Realtruck

I was expecting a 2 inch drop (never assume). The mounting brackets (2 for each board)are extremely heavy duty, although a center support bracket would go a long way in making these much more sturdy. The instructions were easy for me to read and follow. The rubber mud flap is a little "cheap looking" but works ok. For the money, I got what I paid for.

The installation was easy but only after i had to take them on and off twice. There is a cut out on the one end of the running that has to go to the front of the truck.No where in the installation guid does it tell you this.

Instructions were somewhat criptic but adequate. One bracket needed modification to allow for emergency brake. Overall quality was very good. Would buy again.

I am somewhat dissabled and need the strenght of these running boards to climb into my truck. They hold my wieght of 200 lbs, and more. I am very pleased with them. I would recomend them to anyone.

You can reach into the back of the truck without dragging anything else out or stepping on the wheel. These are really built strong. They are easy to install, with no drilling involved.

So I can reach into the back of the bed from the side of the truck by just stepping on the running board and nothing else. These are heavy duty running boards, I was surprise at how heavy they are. The only problem is that when you spray them off in the corners, it sprays back at you.
