The Ultra Black powder-coat finish gives the Sentinel Running Boards a sleek look. The edges of the Sentinels are protected by a stainless steel trim, which only adds to the stylish appearance. Each step pad is molded plastic with the Dee Zee logo insert. The end caps are perfect for work trucks because of how beefy they are. And each pair of Sentinel Running Boards are a great fit with the Dee Zee Splash Guards.

Easy to install and look good except for the plastic ends which will need to be secured better as they do not stay in line with the main board. The DeeZee emblem which are on the step area of the board are mounted with 3M tape and will come off fairly easily. One of mine came off after the second washing. Also the mounting brackets could use a second bolt to the frame of the truck as they will spin easily if drug on the ground. This causes the adjusting bolts to rip out of the floor board which is aluminum. I bought them to help my elderly parents get in/out of my heavy duty truck and they have done an excellent job for that purpose. I found tubes to be too slick and some of the other boards are not ribbed like these. Water runs off of these and they are wide which helps insure good footing.
