Description

Extang toolbox tonneau covers are available with the Extang RT design. Designed to fit behind most standard 20" over the rail tool boxes. The Extang RT tonneau allows for easy opening and closing of the bed cover. Featuring a premium tarp with fully finished corners. The heavy duty black anodized bows are attached to the truck bed cover and rollup with the cover and stores neatly behind the toolbox for full truck bed access. These Extang tool box tonneau bed covers feature tension adjusters designed to keep the tarp tight from one season to the next. High grade industrial velcro seals the sides of the Extang RT tonneaus. The Extang RT toolbox bed cover comes with an easy at home clamp on installation and features Extangs tonno cover warranty. Limited lifetime on cover and frame.

Looked great after the installation on my 2010 F-150 Supercrew 5.5 ft bed. A couple of modifications made this look like it came from the factory. In order to get a good seal accross the tailgate cap, I had to trim the rubber bumpers on the aluminum rails and slide the rails back approx. 1/4" farther toward the tailgate than what the instruction stated. This caused the tailgate to get a very good seal. I then placed a piece if 1.5" aluminum angle with weather stripping accross where the toolbox meets the cab. It rained cats and dogs the next day. The cover not only looks GREAT, it works GREAT also. The only thing from keeping this product a 5 star product is if Extang would have done this for me. I would recommend this for anyone who has a high profile 19" or 20" tool box. The seal fell just below the tool box latches...perfect.

BETTER THAN NOT HAVING, NEED TO OFFER ONE WITH OPENING FOR THE 5TH WHEEL HITCH AND STILL BE CLOSED.
