Frequently Asked Questions

Will They work with bedliners?
Yes, but there are a few simple additional steps that need to take place to make them compatibe. If you own an under the rail liner, you need a couple small rubber shims to assist the lifting of the tonneau over the tailgate protector. Over the rail bedliners need to be notched out in order for the tonneau clamps to go through.

Will I be able to open and close my tailgate?
YES, there is no restriction caused by the tonneau.

What can I clean my Trifecta with?
We recomment using soapy water with a medium bristle brush. Extang also makes a tonno cleaner that is ideal for the cleansing process.

Installation

 This cover does not fit the way I have had other covers fit. Most covers come down lower to cover more of the side of truck bed. To me it should at least cover the bed liner. Mine is a spray on one and it just sits on top of the bed not sure how much weather it will keep out.

 I purchased the Trifecta Tonneau Cover signature series and it was everything the manufacturer said it was: shipped quickly, free delivery, ready to install, and easy to install. I fit my 2009 Chevy short bed perfectly. A week later I had to help a friend move some belongings, and they stayed nice and dry through a driving thunderstorm! I would recommend this hi quality cover to anyone!

 All the videos and hype are right, this thing goes on and off in just a few minutes. I bought the signature series and installed it in the early spring not thinking about all the pollen. I went out to my truck the next day and it was covered with green dust. I was a bit worried about stains to begin with because the fabric looks like cotton canvas. . . .but I just rinsed the cover off with the hose and she looks new again. This is not a hard cover but if you need to fold it or take it off somewhat regularly than this is the answer as this cover is super easy to handle. This is a major upgrade to covers with snaps and/or velcro and worth the extra money. I docked one star because I think extang could design a better gasket or sealing system in the front of the bed behind the cab. I clearly had two gaps in the front corners where the front wall is lower than the side wall. I ended up using a roll of JVCC 1/2 foam tape which appears to be working well.
I also bought the Loading Zone cargo gate load divider which fits under the Trifecta perfectly even with my hard shell bed liner.

 This is the best cover out of all the other soft tri fold covers. I went by one the auto accesories places to compare the others to the Trifecta and was sold on the quick release latches. Yes it cost more but it's the one to buy. Real Truck has come through twice for me with no problem as for quality of product and service. Thanks RT!

 Was one of the easiest things to put on . Took only 20 mins to put it on my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. Fit perfectly. Instructions were very simple to follow. Recommend it highly added just the right touch to my truck.

 The Tonneau cover is great. Extang did a wonderfull job. Originally, I was upset wtih Realtruck.com because they said 3 to 5 days. Then I got an e-mail that said it would be more like a week plus. well they corrected the error, or it was just a system generated message, Anyhow; my products arrived the next day (4 days) and all has been GREAT since. I will buy from them again!!!
