Extend-A-Truck is a new and unique way to lengthen your truck bed from Darby Industries. Easily haul longer loads with your pickup truck. Attach the Extend-A-Truck, drop your tailgate and haul longer loads. Extend-A-Truck is a not only a truck bed extender, but can be used vertically to extend your roof rack for long loads. This truck bed extender takes the weight and strain off your roof or tailgate and allows you to still haul those long securely and with more safety. Extend-A-Truck will fit any vehicle that has a 2" class III rear OR front receiver hitch. Made by Darby Industries.
The Extend-A-Truck can be used with a Turbo Rack to handle even longer loads.

I have had the Extend-A-Truck Bed for two months and it is great for hauling various loads in my shortbread pickup including the hauling of my kayak which was the original purpose in purchasing. RealTruck was great to work with and they did what they promised all the way through the entire process.

I really like the way the two pieces fit inside of each other and stores behind the seats. That way I always have it when I need it. I bought it to carry my canoe, and it works great. It goes on in about 2 minutes, no tools required. And it has built in tie downs which is very nice.

Solid item. It's built well and should last a long time. I'm using it to hold a 13' Kayak on a short bed Silverado and it works perfect. I got this as a temporary solution until I can get a more permanent "over the bed" rack and free up my hitch. For the time being, this works well. If you strap everything down correctly and don't half a** it, it'll hold solid for long trips.

A few months ago I purchased the extend -a-truck. I use it often on my trudk to haul long peices of lumber and pvc pipe. Last week , I hauled boards that were 16 and 20 feet long. I also bought a reducer and use it on my Saturn hatchback (tow car for my motor home) to carry a canoe. I don't know how I ever managed without it. The ability to vary the height and length is a plus and a great feature.
