5 Light Functions on this LED truck light bar with red LEDs providing brake and running lights, white LEDs offering reverse lights, and a choice of red or amber LED's for scanning turn signals. Unlike other tailgate light bars that have standard blinking signals, the FireStorm tailgate light bar for trucks allows the signal light to "scan" from the middle of the vehicle to the edges.

A bonus feature is the super bright LED's will vastly improve your vehicles visibility and safety. Aside from making your truck more visible the FireStorm light bar for pickups enables drivers to clearly communicate their intentions to other motorists when braking or turning. The white LED back up lights make driving in reverse much safer and easier.

3M self-adhesive pads offer a no drill, easy application under the tailgate so the light bar appears invisible. You will need to hardwire this scanning light bar to your truck; however the optional 4 pin converter will adapt it to fit your trailer harness. The Plasmaglow Fire Storm LED tailgate light bar is a two piece design available in 36", 48" and 60" scanning light bars to fit nearly any pickup truck or SUV.

Don't know how the product is yet since I can not use it till I get the 4-pin with converter box. Reason the product did not get 5 stars is because If you have to pick your vehicle they should have told me I need the extra part. If you own a GM truck where the brake and blinker is on the same bulb you need the converter box.

Nice Product, adhesive tape very small (needs to be larger), light looks nice.. had to modify support pin on tailgate, would not close because width of LED light,
Over all, satisfied with purchase

I guess I got a bad one... worked for a few weeks then went bad. Started to strobe left ...then right even though my blinker was off. Had to uninstall it and sent it back. I hope the second one works better. I like the way it looks.

Fairly easy to install and looks really sharp on the back of my truck not to mention the safety factor it adds by having more lights. Also with the lights being split in to 30 inch pieces I think is a lot easier to install. Very nice product.

Lights work great. Had to test them before mounting them, to make sure they were on the correct side. Seem to be sealed real good, but have not got them wet yet. My package, when I got them had been opened, (was a little Leary), but everything was there...

Although, I returned this item to real truck, I will review it hear anyway because I used a second one I purchased elsewhere that arrived before realtruck's. First things first, and I might add this is not mentioned anywhere in the description of the product, you can only use this product if your truck (or trailer) uses the same wire for turn signal and brake lights. If not, you can't use this product and must hard wire Firestorm to tailights. However, if your fortunate like me, then this product works great. The 7 output wires from the converter matched up perfectly to the colors of the 7 wires coming from the Firestorm for an easy wiring job. Then you have the option to plug into the four pin trailer harness or cut the plug of the converter and splice directly into trailer harness, leaving trailer plug free for a trailer. I chose to cut converter plug off and splice in directly behind the 7/4 pin trailer harness on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck. There will be 6 wires to connect (rt turn/brake light; lt turn/brake light; running lights; ground; reverse; and 12V constant). All the wires were available in the 7 pin trailer harness. Installing the firestorm would have sucked without this converter because I would have had to run turn signal wires to front turn signals due to brake and turn signals using the same wire in the rear lights. Glad I made this purchase. I would strongly suggest you check the wiring configuration on your truck first before purchasing though. Other than that, I recommend this product. Four out of five stars due to plasmaglow not being clear that this product would not work for all applications.
