I had it professionally installed on my 2010 Avalanche. I asked the installers about the quality of the welds and overall workmanship...they said it was a quality system all the way around. I love the low rumble of the system, however it is not overly loud and produces no drone in the cab at speed.

System installed well. I had trouble getting it tight. I broke one clamp.

I thought it was a performance exhaust, but the muffler is way to quiet. I wanted a little rumble like I had with the Edelbrock system, but I wanted a Stainless system and Edelbrock didn't offer one.

I have a 2009 F350 4x4 short bed , crew cab, 5.4L -- The installation of the Gibson exhaust is as easy as 1-2-3 ,the sound is level in the cab is very minimal, the only thing that was an issue was the drivers side exit pipe where it rested on the shock , had to modify that side so it wouldn't rub or hit. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star.

Gibson is a terrible company. From day one this system did not fit correctly. The exhaust note was terrible. I had to cut the pipe for the system to bolt up after that the system would not seal to the factory flange. Real truck made UT right, they took care of me and out me first. I will keep my business with Real Truck, I will never purchase a Gibson product again.

I purchased this exhaust for my 2007 Silverado. It was very easy to install and sounded great. I bought a 2010 Silverado and purchased the same exhaust. Chevy changed the way the head pipe attaches to the wye pipe. The instuctions that come with the exhaust were for a 2009 Silverado. What I had to end up doing was cutting the factory exhaust just ahead of the muffler. After figuring this out, the rest of the installation was pretty easy. And as before, I think it sounds great, a mellow tone going down the road, and I think, a great sound when you "get on it".
