Love the Rhino bars and they look great on my 2011 Silverado. Had some challenges with the front mounting bracket/hardware that was provided. Instructions call for a through bolt at the weld of the rocker panel but the truck had a pre threaded nut welded and painted in that I had to cut off with a grinder in order to get the bracket to mount flush above the truck body.

After my initial negative review, Real Truck fixed the issue on their part--they read my review and contacted me to try and correct my issues. They contacted the manufacturer and the product was under warranty, so we received a replacement set free. As for the Nerf Bars, it remains to be seen whether this replacement set will rust or not...

Overall - very pleased! Realtruck.com sent me consistent updates on where my item was since it was on back-order. Shipping was a little delayed, but understandable. Installation was fairly easy, though time consuming (took about two hours), and can be done solo. Once installed, the bars are sturdy. I weigh about 195 lbs., and it holds my weight well. I notice most other bars hold only on two points of contact where these hold on three. The only thing I'm concerned with is how durable the bars will be over time and with wet weather conditions. I sprayed the welds and brackets with a clear coat enamel like the directions suggested.

The nerf bars arrived at my front door packaged like thay were shipped from across the street instead of across the United States. Everything was in great shape. The product is very easy to install and the directions were well described by the manufacturer.

Bars look great and went on quickly (about an hour)but, I wish that there was more adjustment in the brackets or that the front of the bars were set about an inch back from where they are. The bars touch the back side of my factory mud flaps and puch them forward slightly which in turn causes my right front tire to touch the flap on a tight turn. This is only on the passenger side, the driver side is fine and I have the bars back as far as they will go. With that being said, My application was on a 2006 Toyota Tundra Double Cab DW edition with 275/65 R18 Nitto Terra Grappler AT's and a 2 1/2" front end lift so this won't be an issue for most trucks with 17" wheels and smaller tires,BUT the bars WILL still touch the mud flap and they should not. That is the only reason I gave them a 4 out of 5.
