 This step bar has fully met my expectations. It is a high quality product. I installed it on my 2011 Ford Flex and it looks great. The benefit to me is that (I hope) that bumps and dings on my rear bumper will me minimized. The backup sensors in the bumper will also be protected. I have secured it with a locked hitch pin.

 Again, very pleased with purchase and quality so far.( Just one note on the anti-rattle design: Should just use a proper length 3/8" bolt when snugged up, head of bolt bottoms out so it does not protrude down where when backing over close tolerence curbs,landscape ties,etc. does not hit and become bent or broken off. Get rid of that big protruding plastic knob,I did and its just fine now. It just requires taking out a wrench to remove it, which is OK by me. Also I used a piece of shrink-tube over the 2" square tube that inserts into the hitch receiver to eliminate any slop that may cause rattle).

 This is my second hitch step bar for my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. The first got bumped at a fast food drive-thru which left a few small dents, bumped in the work parking lot which pushed in the center about a 1/4", and then finally side swiped which truly did it in, pushing the tube forward 2" and up 1". The rear bumper never saw any damage from the three incidents. Instead of thousands of dollars of repair and time without my Pathfinder while it would be in the shop, only $150 and never missed a beat. It is of great quality, looks good, and very easy to install/remove. It arrived 5 days after I ordered it and installed it right away. A recommended buy...

 Good lucking Item if it didnt have some many problems. The hitch bar was welded crooked to the bar that parallels the bumper. From end to end it was off by 1/2" to the straightness of the bumper, which was quite noticeable. I tried to put electrical tape on the square hitch bar, which worked until you tighten it. It pulled it back down. The other problem was the part that was supposed to tighten it lands right at the weld of the tube and square hitch part. Consequently it did not sit tight and you could move with your hands very easily. So standing on it as a step would defintely cause you to lose footing. I returned, which was quite an ordeal, a near 4 week long process. I read on this site and others that people have had the same problems. I guess if your lucky to get a properly welded hitch step bar with the correct length tightner, it would be a great product. My other comment is the quality of the bar, not only did i feel the bar was a bit thin and would easy bend if hit lightly by a car, but the plastic ends were loose.

 This is my second Go-Rhino stainless Hitch step (the previous one was damaged in a collision-However it did cushion the blow).It provides great protection to the rear plastic bumbper on my SUV,looks sharp and matches the trim of vehicle. Oh - and it provides easier access to the top of the vehicle for cleaning and rooftop storage (take care not to put too much weight on the roof though which can be dangerous).The step is easy to install and my only criticism is the anti-rattle knob must be tighted to the point that the metal rod that prevents the step from wobbling will bend or crush depending on design of you vehicle hitch -so I just tighten until wobble ceases.It will still shift slightly if you stand on it or try to move it but it wont wobble or make noise when you drive(mine does not) The hitch pin provided is adequate but I replaced with a locking hitch pin for security. Real Truck provided the item at a fair price with reasonable delivery time. Overall I recomend the product and Real Truck.Hope this helps someone.
