Deep-Tone Dual System –
Split rear design that is aggressive sounding under acceleration but is moderate at cruising speeds.
4” Diesel System –
Unless noted, 4” single & dual kits include a 4” downpipe. 4” dual kits go from the 4” downpipe to 5” into a single in/dual out muffler. 409 stainless steel kits are magnetic and will be brownish in color. All diesel kits will generate a moderate sounding exhaust note.
5” Diesel System –
These kits include a 4” downpipe and are recommended for use on trucks that have modifications to create higher horsepower such as a chip, programmer, or intake.
Dual Cat-Back Truck System –
Split rear design and most kits are available with an HVS muffler for a deeper, more aggressive sounding exhaust.
Single Cat-Back Truck System –
These kits have a factory style exit behind the rear passenger tire. These are the quietest performance systems offered by Heartthrob.
Cat-Back Performance Car System –
Most performance car kits now have the HVS muffler available and some kits now have the option of Heartthrob’s Flowpack race mufflers for an even more aggressive sound.

Great product. Came complete with all parts needed to install. Installed with two guys in one hour. The sound is a little loud but exceptable.
The exhaust system arrived when expected. Installation was pretty simple. Would have been easier but the previous owner had removed some of the OEM mounting brackets. The stainless mufflers coming out the back look good. The sound is great, a deep throaty sound. Not real loud. I would recommend this exhaust system. Good quality at a reasonable price.
Truly a great product. Very good construction, fit, and sound. I am very satisfied.
installed in about one hour I can feel more power but still not sure if it helped the millage. Intresting sound still not sure if I like it
I purchased the Heartthrob exhaust kit for my 2011 F-150 Ecoboost and I love it. Install was super easy. I think it took longer to remove the stock system than it took to put the new system on. I have noticed more power, quicker response and better gas mileage. It's still a V-6 so I wasn't expecting any great improvements in sound but it does sound a whole lot better than stock. You really couldn't hear the stock system. Great product and outstanding customer support. i had to call heartthrob about one question I had with the directions and they were more than willing to walk me through everything. Real truck had the best price out there and shipping was real quick.
This was my first upgrade for my new ecoboost. I couldn't be happier. Nice subtle sound upgrade, paired with a cold air intake, this is going to be incredible. I had to buy one extra 4" clamp that I think should've been thrown in the box, but no biggie. I would totally buy again.
PROS: According to heartthrob the 4in system adds an additional 38 hp and 50lbs torque to the already impressive 365hp and 420lbs of torque that come stock on the ecoboost f150. Though I haven't dyno'd my truck to verify this, the butt dyno does feel a noticeable increase on power. Where the gains of this system can really be seen however is in the sound department. I looked at every system available for my truck, and after installing this system, I feel I made the best choice. It actually makes the truck sound like a truck, with an almost diesel like sound. The 4in tubing really brings out the turbos as well. I ran the exhaust dumped at the rear axle for a few weeks and I have to say it sounded GREAT and was louder than with the end section in a good way. I now have the end piece on and though the sound is a little more tame is still turns heads everywhere I drive. IVe actually had several people ask me if I had a diesel f150!
CONS: the instructions are slightly lackluster... In fact they're pretty much useless so don't really bother unless you just want a quick glance on what to do. Despite this, the exhaust was not hard at all to install, especially since I didn't have to do any cutting with an 8ft bed. The last section came bent when I took it out of the box, but with a little time i got it to fit perfectly onto the over axel section. Ive heard lots of complaints on the forums because it is aluminized steel and not stainless, but living in SoCal rust isn't much of a concern for me and I was perfectly happy with the build quality and fit!
Overall I am VERY satisfied with this product. Easy to install, sounds great, and I got an increase in Hp and Tq. this exhaust was a win win win in my book.
This exhaust sounds killer little exspensive but great quility. Looks awesome thx realtruck kit #4004580
Things I have noticed with this vs stock;
Louder: It is louder than stock, but not overly loud. Can still listen to the radio even at full throttle.
Performance: No dyno text done, but does feel a bit more snappy at highway speeds.
Mileage: I haven't noticed a bump in MPG, maybe ~0.3 at best.
Other: I don't know if this is related to the exhaust or not, but when accelerating at a prudent rate it seems to hold on 5th gear longer than before.
Very easy to install fit well, sounds great only minor adjustment to rear brake line on drivers side to get proper distance from tail pipe over axle.
