Now that you've put a front receiver hitch on your vehicle, it would be nice to have some way of mitigating or reducing the damage by hitting this hitch on a log or rock. Of course it also keeps the hitch free of debris.

One option is to fabricate a hitch mounted skid plate, but with the pricing of this so reasonable, it makes much more sense to buy a pre-made one by name brand company.

My only comment/suggestion would be to have the entire front sloped instead of just the bottom portion.
