Installation

 Very basic of tuners on the market. A noticeable difference in power and torque between all three levels. Better than average instructions for downloading and installation of product. Too soon to tell if there is a increase in the MPG. Although there does seem to be a difference to the better. 2000 FORD F350 SD 7.3L DIESEL.

 I purchased a Hypertech Max Energy power Programmer for my 1998 GMC 5.7 with automatic transmission. I am very happy with the programmer And am realizing a 1 to 2 miles per gallon improvement over stock settings, also it has an option to change the shift points and firmness of the transmission, I like this the most because the stock settings were just way to mushy for me. Also it has a code reader built in. My order was processed and I received my programmer in a professional and timely manner. Thanx Blane.C

 very easy to install,you can feel the difference in shift points right away as well as a slight increase in power.Fuel economy however is not there.I only saw an increase of .5 mile per gallon in my F150 5.4L
Certainly not worth the money if you want better fuel economy, which is what I bought it for.

 A solid amount of set it and forget it options for those of us who don't care to constantly tweak performance settings. I've got this set to -200 rpm shift points on my lincoln mark lt and while under normal driving conditions noticed a good increase in mpg. That, with a drop in K&N filter and G2 Tonneau (fits under the chrome side rails) means an average of nearly 18mpg (1/2 - 60 mph road, 1/2 city) up from 15.

The only downside to this for me at least was you need to have the doors shut and all power items off. Well, when its 100 outside, and the programmer takes at least 15 minutes to go through all its settings, it can be an unpleasant experience.

That said, it works and works well with the latest program d/l from their site. Noticable power on WOT, better MPG under normal driving.

 I bought this for my 2004 Silverado 1500 5.3L. The extra horsepower is noticeable. I was hoping for a little more than 1.5mpg improvement but every little bit helps.
