Average quality because, if the instructions are not followed explicitly the end piece studs will break. The end caps do not appear to be the same high quality as the rest of the boards, or maybe it's the design of the fasteners.
I think these step boards are reasonably priced and the installation was fairly straightforward. All in all I think I received decent value for my investment of time and money.
Great product, easy to install, looks great, and is exactly what I was looking for. However the delivery of it is what left a nasty taste in my mouth. It took almost 2 months for me to get this product. Original order shipped on time as advertised but never got here apparently the package got audited by ups and then it was lost. The frustrating part for me is no one called no one emailed, I had to initiate everything and lost 2 weeks while everyone was "sorting it out". My order had to be reordered and took longer to ship cause the manufacturer was back ordered. Realtruck really didn't care like they said they are just the middle man and all they did was process the order. I'd give their service a 0 on this one.
I'm overall very pleased with my new running boards. The design and instructions for the end caps need to be improved. Hard to tell when they are properly aligned and the importance of lining them up before tightening and overtightening can break off female fastener.
Looks good on my Tundra. Good quality. Very happy with Real Truck and excellent customer service.
Great step, easy install only complaint is they need to protect it better in box for shipping. Had small dent in one,but can live with it. Over all great step.
These steps were the easiest units I have ever installed. They match the wheels that are on the truck. I have had several great remarks from friends and family. I have had a couple Ram owners wonder if they were actually factory units they look and match so good. The wife just loves them. Best money spent.
My review of the Iron Cross Endeavour Step board is it is a nice looking accessory to my 2014 Ford F-150 Regular Cab truck. The combination of metal and black plastics looks good together and I hope they hold up well over the coming years. Before I purchased them I read other customer reviews and I saw a few concerns with installation but nothing too worrisome. I will confirm, however, these concerns are worth noting. Having never installed step boards or rails before I found the installation instructions to be short on guidance. Firstly, the box of mounting brackets (92424/468) I received was labeled for Ford F150, years 04-09. Having a 2014 model this made me wonder if I received the correct parts. From the start of installing the mounting brackets I encountered questions: Step 3 said to install a nut clip into one side of the factory locations. These openings are covered with heavy tape during the truck's manufacturing. Do you remove it, cut through it or something else? Will it harm something? The instructions don't say. But you can't install the nut clip without getting past this tape. At each bracket mounting point there are two holes on the pinch weld; do you use the forward or rear holes? The instructions don't say and it doesn't say if you have to mount each bracket in the same corresponding position (forward or rear). I found it best to mount the rear support bracket in the forward hole and the front support bracket in the rear. Otherwise the step board has a welded support that would block access for bolting on the clamp bracket (step 6). The 5/16"x 3/4" hex bolt is almost too short to fit and tighten through the hole "B" on the pinch weld. This might be caused by the 5/16" washer is too wide too fit into the counter-sunk hole on the pinch weld. Again, I go back to the box of mounting hardware I received and wonder? I'll say none of this was a show stopper but it did slow things down and left many seeds of doubt. But the real show stopper was a package of 6 missing steel screws for attaching one side of end caps. I received two boxes with end caps. One had a complete package of fasteners and the other did not. I thought, OK, I'll find replacement screws locally to keep this thing moving. Nope, that didn't happen. Everything I found that might work in terms of length and size had a screw head too wide to fit into the recessed slot. So I called Iron Cross and 5 days later I was ready to finish the install. In the end it takes at least 2 hours to install but give yourself longer, especially if you haven't done this before.
*Shipping was fast and the product arrived in good condition.
*Worked great with the supplied brackets and installed within a couple hours.
*As other reviews have mentioned the plastic ends are fragile and break easily.
