installed easy, look great but i am dissapointed with the mounting brackets themselves. they need to be heavier duty, they have a tendancy to flex when stepping on them. and since they are steps this is not a good thing.

Received the boards 10 days from order. Excellent door to door, via UPS. Looked all over Ontario for these and had to buy them from Real Trucks. Took me 4 hours to install, only problem was trying to get the self tapping on the sides of the front cap to go in, otherwise it was a case of RTFM and going for it. Boards look excellent on my 2009 Ford F150 CrewCab. My wife and daughter have stopped complaining about the climb in and complemented me on the boards. Thanks Real Trucks for the prompt service and thanks to Ironcross Automotive for a wonderful product. Will see how they fare in the winter.

These steps are fantastic! They are VERY STURDY and look GREAT on my 08-F150 Crew Cab (Harley Davidson Pkg.), they blend right in with the rims and just sets the truck off even more. I bought the stainless steel. The 5" width gives you a nice secure feel when you step on them with NO feeling you might slip off the step. They were very easy to install.

Like the Iron Cross Step Boards, look great on our 2009 Dodge Ram Truck.
Iron Cross's Instruction where not the best, The self tapping screws were a bear to get in, the four nuts that went on the plastic studs where difficult to get tight. Where they are located, you could turn them one flat at a time. However after you got one side on, the other went pretty quick. For looks, they are cool!

Instructions sent were inadequate for the vehicle stipulated during the purchase process. I managed to figure out what I needed to do to have a solid mount, but after considerable frustration. Hanging brackets were not all bent at the same angle and some were longer than others, creating a situtation where the mounting of the running boards per instructions was impossible. Now that they are finally on my truck, the look GREAT! I think they will be tough enough to endure and are well built. More in-depth attention to detail in manufacture as well as in formulating instructions to publish are in order.

I was satisfied with the product once installed. The shipping container was cheap cardboard and arrived better beat up. The installation instructions were destoryed. I was able to Google the product number and obtain a PDF file with the instructions. On the 2009 Dodge Ram Crewcab, the instructions for mounting the brackets were not totally clear as the illustration of the holes and what are on the truck were not the same. Once installed, they look good.

The directions didn't work for me on my 09' Dodge. It tells you to place the clamp brackets on the main bracket and rotate 90 degrees. That didn't work for me, the main brackets lined up w/the welded section on the bottom side of the running board, so the clamp brackets hit these welded sections. It worked better for me to just set the board on the main brackets and slide the clamp brackets in afterwards.
Overall, I am completely satisfied so far and the boards look great & feel very sturdy.

The Step Boards are great; however not enough nuts and bolts were included to attach them to the truck. I had to go and purchase additional hardware so that when I drive down the road they did not rattle

great product- easy to install- may seem as if they will not fit but just tighten them down and they will level out. The reason only gave four stars becaus I do not like the plastic caps on the end.

Product arrived well packed and on time. Well made product. Good instructions, however they need to be reviewed for 2009 F150 FX4 as the center bracket could not be located where indicated due to the position of a cross-member. Ended up having to drill an extra hole in order to mount correctly. Parts list also stated 2 tek screws for center bracket but these had been replaced with extra bolts and nuts. Web description needs to be changed to reflect minimum drilling required. Took around 1.5 hours to install but they look excellent and feel extremely strong and sturdy. Would recommend to anyone but be prepared for some drilling.
On a last note - I would buy from RealTruck again.

Just installed on truck. Easy installation, good instructions. Bars seem to be very strong. When you lay the bars on the brackets, the brackets may seem to be out of line but as you start tightenig, all will lin up an work out. Would have been nice if the insructions relayed that to the installer. Takes about 1 1/4 hours to install.

The product was as advertized, the 5" wide step boards are super, they fit my new 09 truck without any alterations, however the packing of the product was very poor, I do not blame Realtruck for that I blame the factory where the packing was done. The folks a Realtruck in the office were great, I will order from you again. GL.Florida
